Rolling usage windows: no more monthly cliffs

Most tools meter AI usage with a single monthly bucket. Burn through it on day three and you are locked out until the first of the month. That model punishes exactly the weeks you are shipping hardest.

Two windows, always refilling

Usage is now metered in two overlapping rolling windows:

  • A 5-hour session window for short-term bursts.
  • A 7-day weekly window for sustained work.

Both refill continuously as time passes. There is no calendar reset — an hour from now you have a little more session headroom, and a day from now a little more weekly headroom.

Overflow packs for the busy weeks

If you do hit a limit mid-sprint, prepaid overflow packs let you keep going. Packs are only consumed after your plan windows are exhausted, so you never spend extra while you still have included credits.

The goal is simple: you should never be blocked from work you are paying for, and you should never pay twice for the same credits.
