This Privacy Policy explains what personal data Swork Team collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to our website, desktop app, and services.
1. Data we collect
- Account data — email address and authentication identifiers, managed through our identity provider.
- Billing data — subscription status, plan, and transaction records. We do not store your card or bank details; payment data is handled by our payment processors (see below).
- Usage data — feature usage, AI credit consumption, and product analytics used to operate the Service and enforce plan limits.
- Content you provide — files, settings, team and chat data, and prompts you submit, stored to provide the Service.
- Technical data — IP address, device/browser information, and logs for security, rate limiting, and reliability.
2. How we use data
- to provide, maintain, and improve the Service;
- to process payments, manage subscriptions, and prevent fraud and abuse;
- to enforce usage limits and credit balances;
- to communicate with you about your account, security, and service updates;
- to comply with legal obligations.
3. Service providers & subprocessors
We share data only as needed with providers who process it on our behalf:
- Polar — Merchant of Record / payments, billing, and tax.
- PayOS — payment processing for customers in Vietnam.
- Identity provider — authentication and account management.
- Cloud infrastructure — database, cache, and object storage hosting (e.g. managed Postgres, Redis, and S3-compatible storage).
- AI providers — when you use AI features, your prompts and relevant context are sent to the selected provider (e.g. Anthropic, OpenAI, Google) to generate a response.
We do not sell your personal data.
4. AI processing
When you use AI features, the content you submit is transmitted to the AI provider you or your plan uses, subject to that provider’s terms and privacy practices. If you supply your own API keys, your usage is governed by your account with that provider.
5. Data retention
We keep personal data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You can request deletion of your account and associated data (see your rights below).
6. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data, including encryption in transit, encryption of sensitive credentials at rest, access controls, and rate limiting. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. International transfers
Your data may be processed in countries other than where you live. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
8. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@sworkteam.com. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
9. Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies and similar technologies for authentication, security, and preferences. We do not use them to sell your data.
10. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
11. Changes
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the Service or by email; the “Last updated” date reflects the current version.
